Again, slacking on the blogging.

You know, life just kinda gets in the way and next thing you know, it's been two weeks before your last blog.
When I started I was all, "Yeah man, I'm gonna write a little something everyday. I'm gonna publish my life, my thoughts and my unique observations. I can kinda become like, uh, immortalized." And it has been quite the contrary. I'm super slow about getting stuff posted.

Good news though. Bas and I finally, FINALLY got a car! A 2002 Toyota Corolla. Thass right!
And this time (with all my internet knowledge and printouts in hand), Bas and I were ready for some real deal haggling. We went to a place called Parkway Toyota and got a really nice deal pretty much off the bat. Not too much haggling necessary. We dealt with this very nice old man...James Taylor. He was really nice but I must report that his teeth leaves a lot to be desired.
He's been doing car selling for 8 years. Jim really took a lot of time with us. It was the longest test drive I've ever been on. We went on the residential streets, on the highway, over the mountains, through the valleys and across the desert.
He explained every single feature on the car. Told us all about the engine, the gears, gas mileage and even the storage space. Now that my friends, is a car salesman.
He pretty much spent a little over an hour with us before we even sat down at that negotiating table.
He started at a very fair price and after a few moments of silence, came down a cool grand from that.
We were very pleased.
I do want to mention something pretty exciting going on here at work:

My company is flying everyone to Sweden! That is where our headquarters is.
So, in February, I'll be going half way around the world. To a ski lodge, nonetheless.
I've never ever been on skis before. But my husband promises to give me a few lessons before hand. Now that we have a car and all, we can just drive an hour out of town and there we are. I just hope I don't crash into any trees like Sonny Bono did. That's a fucked up way to die. Senseless, really.
Dying should be for a good reason. I have yet to figure out that reason, but I do know that tree crashing isn't one of them.

Our apartment is so hooked up right now. It's the nicest place I've ever lived in, as far as the furnishings are concerned. But that is the way things are supposed to be, you grow up and you make more money and get nicer things. And it is so fun to be doing it all with the love of my life.

I am soon going to make an effort to learn how to post photos. It's a goal before next year.

No baby yet. Bas and I are having so much sex, sometimes we can't even stand it. I really hope we don't end up being one of those couples who has a hard time conceiving.
They say pregnancy is contagious. Bas's friend, Remco's wife is pregnant and we had Thanksgiving with them this year. I was try to stand all next to her and rub up against her like crazy.

I hope some of the joujou rubbed off on me.
